Composition and Construction
• Positive Leg:Made of 99.95%copper.
• Negative Leg:Made of a copper-nickel alloy,typically containing 55%copper and 45%nickel.
• Insulation:Available in various materials such as PVC,PFA,fiberglass,silicone rubber,or Kapton,depending on the temperature range and environmental requirements.
Temperature Range
• Standard Range:-270°C to+400°C.
• Class 1 Tolerance:±0.5°C or 0.40%of the temperature range.
• Class 2 Tolerance:±1.0°C or 0.75%of the temperature range.
Advantages
• High Accuracy:Type T thermocouples offer high accuracy,especially in the range of-200°C to+200°C.
• Wide Temperature Range:They can measure temperatures from extremely low(-270°C)to moderately high(+400°C)levels.

Limitations
